Job Title: CNC Machinist

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our team. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision components. This role requires strong technical skills, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

    1.    Machine Operation:

    •    Set up and operate CNC machines (e.g., mills, lathes) to produce components according to specifications.

    •    Load raw materials and adjust machine settings to ensure accuracy and precision.

    2.    Programming and Troubleshooting:

    •    Interpret and modify G-code and M-code programs as needed.

    •    Troubleshoot machine errors and make adjustments to ensure smooth operations.

    3.    Quality Control:

    •    Perform regular inspections of finished products using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).

    •    Ensure all components meet design specifications and quality standards.

    4.    Blueprint Interpretation:

    •    Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documents to determine machining requirements.

    •    Plan and prioritize machining sequences for maximum efficiency.

    5.    Maintenance and Safety:

    •    Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools to ensure optimal performance.

    •    Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

    6.    Collaboration:

    •    Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.

    •    Provide input on design or machining improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.

    Physical Requirements:

    •    Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

    •    Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.

    •    Ability to work in industrial environments with noise and other typical conditions.
