Job Title: Machine Operator

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Machine Operator to join our team. The Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery used in production processes. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality. Key Responsibilities:

    1.    Machine Setup and Operation:

    •    Set up and operate machines according to specifications and production schedules.

    •    Monitor machine operations and adjust settings to ensure product quality and efficiency.

    •    Operate various machines, including CNC machines, presses, conveyors, or other production equipment.

    2.    Quality Control:

    •    Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

    •    Identify and troubleshoot any issues or defects in the production process.

    •    Make adjustments or repairs to machinery to maintain production quality.

    3.    Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

    •    Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.

    •    Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical problems with machines as needed.

    •    Clean and lubricate equipment regularly to prevent malfunctions and prolong machine life.

    4.    Safety and Compliance:

    •    Follow all safety protocols and operational guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.

    •    Adhere to company policies and industry standards for safety, cleanliness, and quality.

    5.    Record Keeping and Reporting:

    •    Keep accurate records of machine settings, production output, and any issues encountered.

    •    Report any malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

    •    High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machine operation preferred.

    •    Proven experience as a machine operator or in a similar production role.

    •    Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and machine manuals.

    •    Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

    •    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

    •    Ability to stand, walk, and work for long periods.

    •    Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).

    •    Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with machinery, noise, and other physical conditions.
