Position Overview:

With this Welding position you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and components using various welding techniques. This role requires strong technical skills, precision, and adherence to safety standards to ensure high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Welding and Fabrication:

• Perform welding tasks using techniques such as MIG, TIG, stick, or flux-cored arc welding.

• Fabricate and assemble metal parts according to blueprints, specifications, or work orders.

2. Inspection and Maintenance:

• Inspect welded surfaces for structural soundness and identify defects or needed repairs.

• Maintain and repair welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME) preferred.

• Proven experience in welding, with knowledge of various metals and welding processes.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

• Comfortable working in environments that may include heat, noise, or confined spaces.

• Capable of standing, bending, and working for extended periods.
